ABOUT

Dr. Stephen Mancini is considered an expert in leadership, cybersecurity, and understanding the challenges of cybercrime.  He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems from Liberty University as well as a Master's Degree with a concentration on Software Engineering  from the Air Force Institute of Technology.  He holds Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.   He has spent the past 30 years between the public and private sector working in a variety of technical and leadership roles related to cybersecurity and cybercrime.  He was previously with DHS' Cybersecurity and Information Security Agency (CISA).  Before that, he was the Chief Technology Office (CTO) and Director of Strategic Operations (DSO) at the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA).  He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on cybercrime, cybersecurity, cyber policy, etc. at various universities such as the National Defense University, where he also managed the hands-on cyber labs, University of Pittsburgh, Seton Hill University, and Carlow University.  He’s also an international speaker and trainer.  For example, he has trained both public and private sector representatives on cybersecurity and cybercrime both virtually and in person in countries such as Mongolia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Canada, and Italy and has published various articles on cybersecurity and cyber crime related issues.  Steve is also the co-host of the radio program "Italian Impact Weekly", which is streamed on all the major platforms, and the Director of the highly acclaimed documentary Fedelta'.
